Story + Vision
Our Church vision is to be a light to the city of London and to the nations.
In 2006 Andy, Sue, and a group of 30 planted from Holy Trinity Brompton. Since then, we have grown to be a passionate diverse community from many countries and backgrounds. We love to worship in the Presence of God, to see lives changed through encounter with Jesus, and to impact this great city with the Kingdom of God. Our goal is to live by our Mission Aims and Kingdom Values.
The School of Spirit Life is our programme to equip and enable personal transformation within our congregation and beyond.
We have Light Groups that meet regularly to spend time together, cheer each other on, learn together, and pray together. These are spaces for deeper community within the church.
To enable practical change within our wider community, we have formed the Lighthouse London Community Trust. The trust partners with Resurgo, XLP, and Love Your Neighbour to do it’s work.
Our vision is to be God’s light to the city and the nations. Being led by the Spirit of God, our calling is to be a beacon of light for NW London and beyond; revealing the full gospel of Jesus' love and power to heal and transform.
The Lighthouse London's vision in four characteristics which underpin who we are:
Encounter - that we experience the Presence of God by His Spirit through worship, prayer and His Word;
Spiritual identity - for each person to come to realise their worth and divine purpose as a son or daughter of their Heavenly Father;
Every Person - to welcome people of all nations and backgrounds, encouraging them to grow in their relationship with the Living God;
Impact - to touch lives beyond the church family with Jesus’ love.
